Fundraiser benefits former Wallace, Neb. teacher

A fund raiser during the Wallace Fall Festival in Wallace in September helped raise more than $900 for a former teacher of the town who is battling cancer.
For the fourth year, the Wallace Community Church has sponsored a chili cook-off during the festival. The event, provides food and fellowship for the festival crowd and serves as a benefit fund raiser.
This year, seven teams competed, with the benefit raising nearly $1,000 for medical expenses for Ruth Good.
