Adopt-a-Chaplain, and Operation Christmas Child: Two ways to give, evangelize this Christmas

Christians have many opportunities daily to serve others and spread the gospel, but particularity during the Christmas season.

Two programs that Christians can get involved with this Christmas to support others and evangelize Jesus is through the programs of Adopt a Chaplain and Operation Christmas Child.

Adobt-a-Chaplain

Adopt-a-Chaplain is a Christ-centered ministry based out of Los Gatos, Calif., that is dedicated to supporting American troops through the ministries of chaplains.

By adopting chaplains and their families, Christians pray for and communicate with them regularly.

Adopt-a-Chaplain sends care packages to chaplains serving in the Middle East and they distribute the items to our troops.

For more information on Adopt-a-Chaplain, logon to their website at http://www.adopt-a-chaplain.org/, email them at adoptachaplain@yahoo.com, or call them at 408-600-8884

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.

Spread the gospel through a gift held in a shoebox. For more information on Operation Christmas Child, call (816) 622-8316 or visit samaritanspurse.org/occ.
